It was terrible me and my boyfriend had a lasagna and a pizza, I have had alot of lasagnas in my life and this was the worst lasagna I have ever tasted it tasted like it was microwaved the presentation was pub grub and the chicken on the pizza tasted like some mechanically processed meat, it was expensive and I'm surprised for people who are Italian to not be able to cook their own food I will not be returning to such a disgraceful restaurant. And it made me feel sick it was that bad. I honestly warn you do not go to this restaurant unless you want to be a critic of such a disaster, Gordon ramsay would try the food and shout what is this rubbish close the restaurant down.
My girlfriend and I had lasagne and pizza, the mince was dry, lacking white sauce and the pasta was overcooked, I suspect they reheated in the microwave, the chicken on my pizza was some kind of mechanically processed meat, both dishes came to almost 30 and I will not be returning and will be advising others to stay clear of the place. Gordon Ramsay would have a field day in this place.
A fantastic family experience, we came with our daughter and grand daughter. Francesco is a lovely man and is so good with children, taking them to make pizza. The food as ever was really nice

Lucanos for me personally is the best restaurant in Orkney. The menu is full of delicious food and the specials displayed on the wall are changed the whole time. Kids are more than welcome and the staff go out of there way so make it extra fun for the kids, letting them make there own pizzas and puddings and a small selection of toys for them to play with too. The staff are super friendly and the food and drink are very well priced.
