Great place nice staff polite
Good old fashioned cafe. Spotlessly clean, comfortable seating, and a friendly welcome from helpful staff.We'd visited St Magnus' cathedral and the museum, then decided to eat.Lots of cafe's at the cathedral end of town, but all were busy to the point of being unable to get in and had expensive menus.Spotted the Pomona just by chance. Totally empty, so in we went...Lovely greeting, served quickly, and within 10 minutes, as full to butsting as the other establishments in town! My son recommends the milkshakes. Will certainly return while we are here.Great 'old school' place to eat.
I have been going there for the last two years when I am up Orkney the bed and breakfast side of the cafe is spot on the breakfast is spot on and the room is nice and clean and when you arrived you are met by Colin and Robert any time of day or night and treat you with a coffee or what ever you want recommend to any one who is looking for accommodations to try the Pomona
Lovely warm and welcoming place for breakfast out of the rain. Friendly service. Locals eat here so it must be good.
